EFT Tapping to Help Boost Mental Health [Video Demo]

If you’re feeling stressed or overwhelmed as the year comes to an end, or are struggling to make time for rest and relaxation, EFT Tapping may be an interesting addition to your emotional self-care toolbox.
Here’s an EFT Tapping meditation just for you! The basis of the technique involves lightly tapping particular acupressure points on your body as you explore how true certain beliefs are. In doing this, we calm our emotional brain so that we can think more clearly and problem-solve for ways to make space for new possibilities. Give it a go and get a firsthand experience of how tapping can help you rewire negative thoughts to boost your positive mental health.
EFT Tapping as part of holistic care
The beauty of tapping is that you can practise it alone or with an EFT Practitioner. Practitioners specialize in certain areas, and most spell out very clearly what their scope of practice is. For example, my scope of practice as an Advanced EFT Practitioner is to support kids, teens and adults with stress, anxiety and performance.
EFT sessions can take place as part of a wider team of specialized care; for example, a client receiving treatment with a licensed mental health care provider may see an EFT Practitioner for a specific goal.
Working 1:1 with a skilled EFT Practitioner can also be a great way to change those niggling bad habits that are preventing you from experiencing positive mental health. These might include emotional eating/food cravings, stopping smoking/drinking, gaming, doom scrolling, procrastination, or not exercising consistently, to mention a few.
