Call for Participation in Study: “Third Culture Kids (TCKs) Use of Digital Environments and Mental Health”
We are sharing an invitation for a study conducted by Dr. Laura Cariola, a lecturer in applied psychology at the University of Edinburgh.
The study explores how expat teenagers (or so-called “Third Culture Kids”) navigate the internet, for example to keep in touch with their peers. For the study, TCKs (aged 12-18), their parents, teachers and school counsellors are invited to take part in an online interview (30-60 minutes). The research will be conducted world-wide between June and September 2022. There will be also a webinar where the results of the study will be shared with the expat/global families’ community.
To take part in this study, please contact Laura via email (Laura.Cariola@ed.ac.uk). Please also share the flyer within your network of families, friends and colleagues.
Thank you!
